The Ateneo de Manila University PATHWAY team was able to invite 50 students for its hackathon titled “Ateneo Innov Jam” held on July 3-4, 2023. The students were challenged to propose a way on how to push for a one - day issuance of financing as banks usually are able to issue financing in three to four weeks.

The students were mentored by entrepreneurs and resource persons from European partners.

Out of the 50 participants, Nathan Villegas and Nicole Arcenas (LA2) won 1st place, followed by Clyde Guerra and Raymond Zhang (AIsialink) at 2nd place. The 3rd place was a tie between Kate Ocampo and Sancho de Leon (Ugnay Loaning System) and Jethro Sia and Lance Lao (JuanCentral).

The winning team will attend a student conference in Europe this year along with the other winning teams of the hackathons conducted by the PATHWAY Philippine university partners.
